there are two types of love - loving for yourself and loving the way other people love you given the correct gps coordinates and roadmap, and I wonder if there is a method in the way everything in the universe seems to plaster itself to the nylon waistbands of a cranial region - if it were a planet, it is where the auroras would kiss the ice - and if vagabond breezes and humans weathervanes ever hit that utopian mecca, i hope that this battered compass decides whether polaris is a destination or fading page of a dream

So I've pretty much spent a good chunk of my summer watching slam poetry videos and writing and practicing my work( I'm trying to make my school's team this coming year), and I just felt the need to write a journal about it since some of these are just plainly perfect.
